Create a disk image file
A disk image file is an exact copy of a drive. It can be created on a drive with sufficient free space. For the best speed, use a newly-formatted drive to avoid disk fragmentation.

You must make sure that the destination folder is not on the drive holding the lost data.
Source drive
The drive to be copied.
Save to
The folder where the disk image file will be created.
Binary
Creates a disk image file that can be subsequently used by File Scavenger® or other programs.
Text
Creates a file in a format only suitable for human viewing. The resulting file is not readable by File Scavenger® or other programs.
First sector
The first sector number to copy. The default value is sector zero at the beginning of the drive.
Last sector
The last sector number to copy. The default value is the last sector of the drive.
Disk space required
The minimum disk space required on the drive holding the Save to folder.
