We can help you recover NAS, SAN, and RAID systems of all levels including RAID 0, RAID 5, RAID 6 and RAIDZ.
A RAID system is usually set up on a computer running Windows©, Linux, Mac OS or another operating system.
A RAID system can also be used internally in a NAS or SAN device such as a LaCie, Buffalo TeraStation™, Cisco Linksys, SNAP server, etc.
A NAS or SAN device is a special-purpose computer used as a file server.
Probing inside a NAS or SAN device one will find an operating system (such as FreeBSD, Linux, Windows© or Mac OS) and a RAID system (usually RAID 0 or RAID 5).
File systems that can be recovered from a RAID, NAS, or SAN system include NTFS, FAT32, FAT16, Linux Ext2/3/4, UFS, XFS, Reiser, HFS, HFS+, ZFS and Netware.
Non-Windows file systems (i.e. file systems other than NTFS, FAT32 and FAT16) require a little more work and resources.
